"Configurable panel heights" sounds good, I'd like to see even more configuration options for the panel. Last time I checked, you can't change the width (the panel extends all the way across the bottom of the screen). It would be even better if you could move the panel around like you can do with Xfce's panel, but maybe that would be asking too much.
At this point, I'm still more comfortable using GNOME Shell than Cinnamon, but maybe that'll change as Cinnamon continues to develop.
